Terms of Service
These terms apply to the use of CustomFind Filters & Search ("the app", "we", "us") by a Shopify store ("you"). Installing the app means you accept them.
What the app is
The app indexes your product catalog in a dedicated search engine and answers filtering and search requests from your storefront. The storefront integration is a theme app extension you switch on in your theme editor, or, for a custom build, code we install into your theme as part of your setup and adjust to your requirements. The app itself never modifies your store's data.
Subscription and billing
- Your subscription is billed by Shopify on your regular Shopify invoice. The price and the free trial are shown on the plan page before you approve it.
- You can cancel at any time from your Shopify admin. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; during a trial it takes effect immediately and nothing is charged.
- When a subscription is not active, the app stops answering storefront requests and your theme falls back to Shopify's own collection pages. Nothing on your storefront breaks.
- Setup, design and consulting work agreed separately is invoiced separately and is not part of the app subscription.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the content of your catalog and for having the right to have it indexed and displayed.
- You will not attempt to access another store's index, interfere with the service, or resell access to it.
Availability and support
We aim to keep the service available at all times and to answer support requests within two business days. The storefront integration is designed so that if the service is unreachable, your theme shows its own pages unchanged. The service is provided "as is"; to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the subscription fees paid in the three months before a claim.
Data
How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy. Uninstalling the app deletes your store's data.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means acceptance.
